APS Almora, one of the premier school where children starts growing and blossom with a fragrance of knowledge and wisdom. The school is situated in the land of Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand, India an altitude of 1,638 meters above the sea level. The place is itself characteristic of rich natural beauty. We are committed towards delivering excellent quality knowledge to our children with blend of global experience from past several decades.
APS Almora is one such institution established in 1991 with a purpose to impart quality education to wards of Army personnel in particular and retired Army persons, personnel from Navy & Air Force, Defence, Civilian in general. First batch of Class X passed CBSE exams in 1996. Our school awarded by Academic Excellence trophy in 1998. Presently school is running up to 10+2 standard with Science, Commerce and Humanity Streams.
The School aims at giving the children a refined education so as to equip them to be men and women of character and integrity and to develop competence in them both in scholastic and co-scholastic fields, to enable them to successfully compete at national and international levels.
We believe that our children are the future of not only our country but of the world. We, therefore, aspire to become a model school which promotes moral, physical, creative emotional and academic excellence through a board balanced and relevant educational system in a secular environment. We would achieve this by teaching our children to learn to think, to understand and to adopt to our ever-changing environment. We would enable them to develop their abilities to the full potential.
